UBC Reports | Vol. 49 | No. 7 | Jul.

Books take all forms at UBC. In 1967, graduate student Paul
Thiele used a Braille edition of Winston Churchill’s history
of World War II as a book rest in the new Charles Crane Memorial
Library in Brock Hall. UBC had the largest private collection
of Braille books in the world.
