Omega-6 fatty acids not healthy for girls, ups risk of diabetes

The Hindustan Times highlighted research by Sanjoy Ghosh, a biology professor at UBC’s Okanagan campus, that suggests eating a large amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids, or PUFAs, can lead to a sedentary lifestyle.

Ghosh said this study gives evidence that dietary PUFA is strongly associated with sedentary behaviour among European pre-teen females.
