UBC honours victims of residential schools

The Canadian Press and other outlets reported on the installation of the Reconciliation Pole at UBC that honours the victims and survivors of Canada’s residential school system.

Thousands of nails in the pole represent Indigenous children who died in Canadian residential schools.
