Scotiabank is giving $2-million to UBC to use for cyber security solutions involving financial risk research, News 1130 reported.
Hasan Cavusoglu, a UBC Sauder School of Business professor, said organizations will get better at defense and hackers will get better at finding exploitations and vulnerabilities.
