Alex Bigazzi was interviewed on CKNW’s Jill Bennett Show about research that found there are about 3,700 unused parking spaces in residential properties in Vancouver’s West End.
Bigazzi, a professor at UBC’s department of civil engineering and school of community and regional planning, said that building owners could section off some empty parking so the spaces would be incorporated into the parking permit program.
