Richard Federley, a chemistry instructor at UBC’s Okanagan campus, is one of 72 shortlisted candidates to be one of the next two astronauts for the Canadian Space Agency program, CBC reported.
So far in this process, Federley has completed several days of astronaut training at an assessment centre and written exams and questionnaires.
