Marc White, a professor in UBC’s faculty of medicine and head of the Canadian Institute for the Relief of Pain and Disability, spoke to the Canadian Press about the need for patients to play a bigger role in their pain management.
He said there must be improved education about pain and how to deal with it in daily life.
