The Vancouver Courier quoted UBC president Santa Ono for a story about Emily Carr University, which will accept international students who were unable to enter the United States following the travel ban.
Ono said UBC’s academic strength and stature is dependent on the freedom of its faculty, staff and students to travel abroad for scholarship and study.
