Taylor Owen, a UBC professor of digital media and global affairs, co-wrote an op-ed published in the Toronto Star about the need to reform the CBC for the digital era.
Owen and Elizabeth Dubois, a communications professor at the University of Ottawa, wrote that the CBC should begin to publish all civic journalism content under a Creative Commons license.
