Funding community-based programs can help reduce male suicide

The Hill Times published an op-ed by Britney Dennison, from UBC’s Men’s Health Research project, and John Oliffe, a professor in the school of nursing, about the need for government agencies to support community-based programs to advance the mental health of vulnerable subgroups of men.

They wrote that the benefits of such programs will positively impact men, women and children.
