Former UBC football player Dave Sidoo has been awarded the B.C. Sports Hall of Fame’s W.A.C. Bennett Award, Indo-Canadian Voice reported.
Sidoo played six seasons in the Canadian Football League with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and BC Lions and captained UBC to the university’s first Vanier Cup national championship in 1982.
