Science Daily featured research from UBC and North Carolina State University that found a woman’s history of drug use can help predict whether she will suffer from stress and anxiety after childbirth.
Researchers interviewed 100 women in B.C. who had given birth in the previous three months, were mostly from higher socioeconomic backgrounds and were not considered at high risk of postpartum mental health problems.
