Tree of Hope shines for children’s health

Kelowna Capital News featured a new partnership established by UBC researchers that aims to improve children’s health and well-being.

Ali McManus, a professor at the school of health and exercise sciences at UBC’s Okanagan campus and Lesley Lutes, a psychology professor, will lead the two-year research and outreach project investigating the health of children and teens in Kelowna.

The Tree of Hope campaign made the research possible thanks to $100,000 in funding from TD Bank Group and Landmark Centre. The donation was marked with the annual lighting of the Tree of Hope.
