The Washington Post quoted Werner Antweiler, a professor at UBC’s Sauder School of Business and an expert in international trade and environmental economics, about Canada’s proposed carbon pricing plan.

“That criticism hasn’t been all that new,” he said. “But what has changed is that the opponents of any form of carbon pricing feel emboldened by the fact that there will probably be no carbon policy at the federal level in the U.S. for the next number of years.”
