Deborah Campbell among long-listed authors for non-fiction prize

Deborah Campbell, a UBC creative writing instructor, was long-listed for British Columbia’s National Award for Canadian Non-Fiction, the Canadian Press reported.

She is recognized for her book “A Disappearance in Damascus: A Story of Friendship and Survival in the Shadow of War.”
