Kurt Hübner, director of the Institute for European Studies at UBC, spoke with Sing Tao Daily about the impact of the seven-year deal between Canada and the European Union’s Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
He said that multilateral free trade agreements will face increasing resistance, but he also believes that frustration at CETA could also be a good opportunity for the public to understand how such agreements work.
