Public Radio International mentioned UBC research on the recently discovered relationships among trees.
Work by Suzanne Simard, a UBC forestry professor, is cited in a book called “The Hidden Life of Trees.” Her research showed that trees can differentiate between their “children” and other young trees.
Simard’s work was also referenced in a similar Huffington Post article.
