The Vancouver Sun reported that UBC education professor Steve Cardwell has been named the acting superintendent of schools by the Vancouver School Board.
Cardwell has worked in the public school system for 34 years and is also the director of UBC’s Transformative Educational Leadership Program.
The appointment is effective immediately, the article reported.
