Coverage of the royal couple’s visit to UBC’s Okanagan campus continued in various media outlets including ABC, Daily Mirror, AOL, Maclean’s, Globe and Mail, CBC New Brunswick, Vancouver Sun, and Regina Leader-Post.
Steve Manuel, the head coach of the University of British Columbia Okanagan women’s volleyball team, sat with the royal couple as they took in a volleyball game at the university.
“It’s not every day you get to rub elbows with a future King and Queen of England. So it will definitely be a huge highlight for myself and definitely for the team,” Manuel said.
