Reuters has released its Top 100 rankings of the most innovative universities in the world.
UBC was ranked 50th and the University of Toronto, the only other Canadian school on the list, was listed 57th. Stanford University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Harvard University took the top three spots respectively.
The list is based on schools that are advancing science, inventing new technologies and helping to drive the global economy.
The list was featured in Fortune magazine, Tech Vibes and other media outlets.
