Starbucks will begin displaying calorie information on their menu boards in November and Global interviewed Katherine White, a professor at UBC’s Sauder School of Business, on the topic.
White said posting calorie counts may soon be legislated in Canada as this already the case in the United States.
“The interesting thing is Starbucks is doing this now ahead of the game,” she said. “It is a smart business move.”
