The Georgia Straight featured UBC alumna Molly MacKinnon, who studied violin performance at UBC.
She recalled the influence of her university studies on her musical career.
“I was originally introduced to Eckhardt-Gramatté by my teacher at UBC, Jasper Wood, one of the few violinists to have recorded all 10 of her solo violin caprices,” she said. “I remember just being really compelled by them.”
