CBC interviewed Thomas Davidoff, a UBC economics professor, about his latest research on rent increases in Vancouver this year.
Davidoff said the city’s rental prices are on track to increase by 20 per cent this year.
“It’s a lot, [especially] if you think about consumer price, inflation being in the two to three per cent range,” Davidoff said.
