Event: UBC demo of earthquake early warning system and “shake table”

Event details: Carlos Ventura, director of UBC’s Earthquake Engineering Research Facility, will be giving a tour of the facility and demonstrating the shake table, which tests the response of structures to a seismic event, and early earthquake warning system.
