Pension reformers urged to consider younger Canadians

The Globe and Mail interviewed UBC population and public health professor Paul Kershaw for a story on Canadian pension reform.

Finance ministers will meet June 20-21 in Vancouver and Kershaw’s project Generation Squeeze hopes to influence public policy both at the provincial and federal levels.

Kershaw said there is agreement around a “general narrative” that young people feel that education has not led to the promised gains in adulthood and has left them with higher student debt.
