UBC Okanagan’s School of Engineering is hosting the 2015 Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race (GNCTR) from January 21 to 25 in Kelowna, a student-led national engineering competition. The Vancouver-based UBC team of 30 students from civil, geological, materials and electrical engineering will compete with their sustainable concrete mix design comprising more than 70 per cent post-consumer recycled materials.
