The Department of Central, Eastern and Northern European Studies is marking the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall with a free public lecture on Oct. 17 by Skyler Arndt-Briggs, executive director of the DEFA Film Library at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
