Digitizing Aboriginal knowledge: call for submissions by August 1

In support of cultural understanding, education and capacity-building in First Nations communities, the Learning Centre is pleased to announce the third call for applications to its Aboriginal Audio Digitization and Preservation Program (AADPP). The AADPP provides matching funds for equipment and training to convert audio materials on cassette to digital preservation formats. The program also seeks to promote enhanced and appropriate access to these recordings for communities, and where possible, the broader public. Applications must be submitted by August 1, 2014. For more information, visit the Indigitization site.
