UBC alumna and local pharmacist Nafisa Merali (BSc Pharm ’91) was honoured with the Canadian Pharmacists Association’s (CPhA) Patient Care Achievement Award for Health Promotion at the CPhA awards ceremony in Saskatoon. Merali has been described as a pioneer in the pharmacy profession. Her four Vancouver pharmacies offer free monthly clinics on a range of topics in several languages. To read more, click here.
