UBC to co-host 2012 Golden Key Canadian Regional Summit

The UBC and SFU Golden Key chapters will host the 2012 Golden Key Canadian Regional Summit. This private academic conference, held at the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue from Feb. 3 – to 5, is hosted annually for Golden Key members who study at post-secondary schools throughout Canada.

Featuring 14 guests and speakers, this conference will allow students the opportunity to learn from industry experts and to network with other members. Workshops and interactive sessions will be on a variety of topics including scientific research, social media and public relations, business, community involvement and technology.

This year’s summit will feature keynote speaker Brian Wong, a UBC alumnus, who was recently lauded in Mashable as one of “The Top 5 Young Entrepreneurs to Watch.”

Golden Key International Honor Society is a collegiate honour society recognizing outstanding academic achievement and connecting individuals locally, regionally and globally.
