Recruiting participants for parent and adolescent health and physical activity project

UBC’s School of Human Kinetics is looking to recruit participants for a study on the role of parenting in promoting adolescent health and physical activity.

Researchers are looking for parents of an inactive adolescent (aged 13-16) and their adolescent children to take part in this study, which will run through the summer and early fall.  Eligible parent and child participants will each complete two questionnaires on separate occasions.  In addition, the parent participant will attend a free parenting workshop and follow-up program.  A $30 honorarium will be granted and all costs associated with the workshop will be reimbursed.
